From an almost internetless black hole
Day two in the Japanese countryside with Tom and her family. This trip within a trip can be boiled down to two things: a delicious experience rich in culture, and a test to see how much one can do with an iPhone. So far the list for the latter includes Meebo chat, read the news until 2 am, and now my blog-via-mobile-device cherry has been popped. Awesome? You bet.
As for the countryside stuff, it's almost indescribable. Japan vibrates with a rhythm that's not entirely felt in the neon metropolis that is Tokyo. Stay tuned and soon I'll tell you stories about a 740 year old temple, bamboo ice cream, soba from scratch, late night trips to the convenience store in traditional Japanese pajamas and what it's like to be the only one who doesn't get naked. *As usual*
Just give me an IV already
I just learned that any tags I use more than once get really huge-mongous in my tag cloud, just over there to the left. This could present a problem in the near future, but until I figure out how I'm going to get it under control, I'll just have me a little fun.
